Who is an Osteopractic Specialist and How Can They Help You?

An osteopractic specialist focuses on preventing and alleviating joint, muscle, ligament, and nerve-related health issues.

At our studio, osteopractic specialist Ruslan practices manual therapy techniques (treatment using hands). The client’s health issue is identified through visual observation and manual examination, and the treatment is based on the principle that the human body functions as an interconnected whole—every structure and part influences how a person feels. During each session, the entire body is addressed.

Various techniques are used during a session, including massage, manipulation, mobilization, traction, and more. These involve applying pressure with hands and force, stretches and exercises to improve mobility, pulling techniques, pressure-point massage, compressions, and other methods deemed necessary by the osteopath.

The treatment method and approach are tailored individually to each client to achieve the best results with the fewest visits possible.

How Often Should You Visit an Osteopractic Specialist?

Our clients’ experiences show that, depending on the problem, relief can often be achieved in just 1–2 sessions.

If the specialist recommends follow-up appointments after the first session, they are typically scheduled about a week or two apart.

Where and When Are Sessions Held? What Does the Service Cost?

Currently, appointments with the osteopractic specialist are available at our Tartu studio (Ülikooli 2a) on Fridays and Saturdays, generally between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Each session lasts 30 minutes and costs 60€.

Note: Ruslan also works in Tallinn, where he has his own practice. He does not operate within our studio there. Appointments in Tallinn can be booked via the website kiroman.ee.
