Thermo-C Face Procedure
Thermo-C is a mechanical (device-based) beauty procedure. Treatments performed with the Thermo-C device address a wide range of aesthetic and aging-related issues on the face and body. The results are so effective that they serve as a complete alternative to surgical methods and operations.
What issues does the Thermo-C facial procedure address?
The Thermo-C procedure allows for facial, neck, and décolleté rejuvenation, revitalization, and tightening of the skin.
The Thermo-C facial procedure helps with:
- Reducing wrinkles (elimination of frown lines and “crow’s feet”)
- Reducing double chin
- Removing scars, including acne scars
- Lifting cheekbones
- Reducing nose and mouth area wrinkles
- Contouring the face and neck
- Rejuvenating the eye area – correcting wrinkles at the outer corners of the eyes
- Lifting eyelids
- Rejuvenating and brightening facial skin.
The process begins with facial preparation, which includes cleansing, toning, and exfoliation. The Thermo-C facial procedure is then performed using the device. After the procedure, a soothing facial mask or moisturizing cream is applied to the client’s skin. High-quality BABOR products are used during the treatment, tailored to the skin type.
How are results achieved? How does the Thermo-C device work?
The Thermo-C device uniquely combines four technologies simultaneously:
- Vacuum (similar to cupping and cupping massage but larger and stronger) – designed for skin rejuvenation and smoothing, tightening the skin, and improving blood circulation. This enhances tissue metabolism, resulting in smoother, more elastic, and flawless skin.
- Bipolar RF technology (a warming sensation) penetrates tissues deeply, reaching fat layers where it acts as a lipolytic agent to break down fat.
- Light therapy – red light reduces inflammation, promoting natural wound healing without scarring. It penetrates the deepest skin layers, improving blood circulation and boosting collagen and elastin production.
- Cryotherapy (a cooling sensation) – cools the skin’s surface layer and constricts blood vessels and pores. After warming the skin with RF technology, blood vessels re-expand, leading to increased blood and oxygen flow (fresher, younger skin) and enhanced collagen production.
RF energy locally heats deep skin layers composed of collagen fibers and elastin, causing them to contract and become denser. This achieves a lifting effect comparable to surgical tightening. Cryotherapy and red light enhance RF lipolysis and vacuum massage effects. This combined action simultaneously generates multiple processes in the skin and subcutaneous fat cells: active warming, massaging, fat deposit breakdown, lymphatic drainage, and improved blood circulation in treated areas. The synergy of RF, red light, deep vacuum massage, and cryotherapy delivers powerful results for both surface layers and deeper fat deposits, tightening sagging skin and breaking down fat cells.
