Swing Yoga
Swing yoga is a yoga class where a yoga hammock is used to perform poses. The hammock is suspended from the ceiling like a regular swing and can support people of any body weight (up to 1000 kg).
Swing yoga is suitable for everyone, regardless of gender, age, or prior experience.
Benefits of Swing Yoga
- Helps alleviate back pain and tension.
- Improves muscle tone.
- Increases freedom of movement and a sense of lightness.
- Safe and supported suspension relieves tension in the skeleton, joints, and muscles.
- Suspension occurs from the body’s largest skeletal area—the hips—making it safer than other suspension methods.
- Enhances flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Calms the mind, reduces stress and anxiety.
- Provides a fresh oxygen boost to the body and organs.
- Stimulates brain circulation, pituitary gland, and thyroid function.
- Allows the venous circulation to “rest.”
- Gentler on joints while providing more work for muscles.
- The yoga hammock creates a safer and more supported environment for relaxation and releasing blocked energy.
